I'll finally be seeing Glass tomorrow, when it premieres in theaters. Sadly, I have even more bad reviews from online, and personal friends of mine with similar tastes, and let's just say I've lowered my expectations. I'm still ready to love it, but better to be pleasantly surprised than crushingly disappointed like some of those aforementioned reviewers.

The critics continue their onslaught of horrible reviews of Glass, which I went out on a limb and, even knowing how uneven M. Night Shyamalan can be, named my most highly anticipate movie of 2019 on an earlier episode of this podcast.
I've gathered some particular brutal reviews, and while I won't let them prejudice me against the film which I will see when it premieres on Friday January 18, I'm certainly prepared for a film which, if it's awful, won't disappoint me. Of course, it's equally possible that I disagree with these many critics, and love Glass. The new Captain Marvel debuted yesterday, but fans are angry that we won't get the preview of Avengers 4 that was allegedly scheduled to debut tomorrow.
